USFans Spreadsheet Links: Save the Right Product, Not Just Its Picture

Keep USFans spreadsheet finds connected to their product pages, compare similar listings, recover saved options and share links without private details.

On this page

USFans spreadsheet links help you move between a collection of finds and the item you want to investigate. Their value is not simply that they open. A useful link should let you identify the product again, recover your intended option and understand which page you are looking at before you act.

Start by opening a single find. Compare the title and pictured item with the entry you selected, then look for the size, colour or package choice you intended. Keep the USFans spreadsheet overview open if you are building an outfit; this page focuses on keeping its individual pieces connected to the correct destinations.

Know what you are saving

A category link is useful for browsing again, but it may not return you to the same product. A picture link shows an image, not necessarily an available offer. An individual product page is a better reference for a shortlisted item, provided you also note the selected option.

Before you bookmark a page, give the entry a recognisable name. “Black backpack with side pocket” is more useful than “second bag.” Add the colour or size if the page offers several versions. This also makes a shared shortlist easier to understand without passing around account or order details.

For a real example, open the black backpack with pink detailing on OG. Use its current page to compare the product being presented. A title and thumbnail do not establish capacity, compartment measurements, authenticity or stock availability.

Check a similar-looking replacement carefully

Several results may use the same or nearly identical photograph. That does not prove they have the same seller, construction, options or terms. Compare their details rather than deciding from the picture alone.

For a backpack, identify which details matter to your use: the opening, internal organisation, strap arrangement and dimensions of any compartment you need. If you are buying it for a particular device, the external dimensions alone may not establish whether the device fits inside.

Treat a replacement link as a new candidate when the original disappears. Do not attach the old listing's measurements or buyer photographs to the replacement without checking that they actually apply. The QC photo guide explains why product identity matters when interpreting images.

For another candidate, open OG's product and image search. Start with the details that distinguish your backpack, such as its shape and colour placement. Confirm that your submission produces a response, then inspect the candidate itself; an unchanged grid of catalogue cards does not show that a submitted image was matched.

Rebuild your option after reopening

Some addresses identify a product but do not preserve the option you clicked. When returning to a saved find, select the intended colour, size and quantity again and review the resulting amount.

If the amount changes, check the selected variant, included pieces and currency before concluding that the seller increased the price. A starting price may refer to a different option. A package containing several items is not directly comparable with a single-item amount.

Save a brief note that makes the comparison reproducible, such as “one bag, black/pink option.” Do not record a payment amount as a delivered total unless you have established what shipping and services it includes. Continue to the shopping guide when you are ready to move from browsing to an order.

Keep sharing separate from checkout

Share the public product destination, not a checkout screen, personal order page or account link. If you include a screenshot to explain a choice, remove account identifiers, addresses and transaction information before sharing it.

Copy the actual address rather than manually recreating it from a long string. A missing part can change the destination. After pasting it into your notes or message, open that saved version once to confirm it still reaches the intended page.

If the link passes through a shortened address or redirects, inspect where you arrived before signing in or entering payment information. The safety guide covers the checks that belong outside product comparison.

Give each find a clear next step

Useful shortlists distinguish products ready for a closer look from those that still need a measurement or a working destination. This is a personal shopping aid, not a promise that an item has been reserved.

Keep older entries in a separate group so they do not compete with current choices. A date in a spreadsheet's title does not tell you when every individual product was last checked. The archive guide helps organise previous finds without presenting them as current offers.

If you want to compare several collections rather than individual products, use the best USFans spreadsheet guide. It examines how much useful detail a collection gives you, not merely its headline size.

FAQ

Can I save a picture instead of the product link?

A picture is useful for remembering a style, but it may not identify the seller or available option. Keep a public product address alongside it if you intend to revisit the item.

Why does my saved product open with another colour selected?

The address may not retain your option selection. Check the product itself, then select your intended variant again before comparing the price or proceeding.

Should I remove old links from my shortlist?

You can retain them as references, but separate them from current candidates. Recheck their destinations and options before using them for a new purchase.

Compare the current product details and available options before adding this item to your shortlist.
